Strata is an operating business before it is a software business. Almost every role is on site at Fredericia or in West Texas, because that is where the work is.
We are small, deliberately. The people who join now will set how this platform is built, secured and operated in two jurisdictions — and will be accountable for it to customers who have chosen us precisely because they cannot tolerate failure.
Disciplines we are hiring into
Inference platform engineering
Serving open-weight models at production quality: scheduling, quantisation, kernel-level tuning, throughput and latency under real tenant load. Fredericia or Stanton.
Security engineering
Building and evidencing the isolation model, running the audit program, and owning the answers a customer CISO will ask. Prior experience of a real audit, not a checklist, is the bar.
Data center operations
Commissioning and running the halls: electrical, mechanical, cooling, monitoring and physical access control, alongside the existing industrial operations teams at each site.
Forward-deployed engineering
Embedded with customers to build the retrieval, evaluation and connector layer on their documents. Heavy domain immersion in energy, defense, financial and legal environments.
How we work
On site. This is industrial infrastructure with a software layer, and the people building it should be able to walk into the hall. We are not a distributed company and do not intend to become one.
Small and senior. We would rather have a small number of people who have done the job before than a large number learning on customer workloads. Compensation reflects that.
Two countries, one standard. Danish and American operations run to the same engineering and security standard, with people moving between them. Language of work is English at both sites.
